How do I install the automatic mobile redirection?

The quickest and easiest way to install your mobile redirect is to install it after the head tag of your index.html file. The customized redirect code you will use is provided to you in the Redirect step. This is the final step inside of the editor.

While each hosting provider is different, the basic instructions are as follows:

1. Login to your hosting provider or where you update your desktop website from

2. Find the file manager section

3. Find the public_html folder and then find the index.html file

4. Edit the index.html file and find the head tag

5. Place the redirect code (from the Redirect step in Duda) directly after the head tag

6. Save and enjoy mobile sites! Make sure you test it on a mobile device to make sure it is working correctly.

Can I use PayPal and Google Checkout for simple ecommerce?

Why does my mobile website show content that is not in the editor?

When content appears on the live mobile site and in the preview of your mobile site but not in the editor this means that the editor is out of sync with the original website. While the mobile site automatically updates with the newest and latest content, but the editor does not do this automatically.

Often you will see a warning saying ‘The page is out of sync with the original website.’ When that appears, you can click ‘Sync Now’ to ensure that the editor has all the latest content.

To manually sync a page:

1. From within the editor you’ll want to click on “Pages” on the left side of your screen.

2. Then select the page you’re having the issue with.

3. Click on SEO and Page Settings button inside the Page Info section.

4. Then in the popup that appears, click on the link “Sync now”.

5. Click “Yes” on the pop-up that appears.

6. The content you saw on the live site or in the preview should be pulled into the editor where you’ll be able to style or delete it.

How does auto-sync work?

We go and fetch the updated content from your regular desktop website and present it in a way that is optimized for mobile devices. That means if you add a paragraph of text or a new image to your original website, the mobile site will show that new content as well. If you have made changes in your regular website and don’t see them being updated in your mobile site, you might want to refresh the page on your mobile device.

One frequent question we get is after you’ve made edits to your site, how will auto-sync happen. While editing your site, edits that you make will have priority over the auto-sync event. So if you delete an image, that image will stay deleted. If you alter the text of a paragraph, then that paragraph will no longer auto-sync, because you’ve edited it.

It is important to note that only content that get’s pulled in from the desktop site can auto-sync. If you add a new paragraph or image, then that will not auto-sync with the desktop site.

Which phones does your editor work with?

It will work with any modern smart phone that has a modern browser. The following devices have modern browsers that support HTML, CSS and JavaScript: iPhones, Android Devices, Windows Mobile, BlackBerry, and Symbian
